Day 1 Arrival and welcome at Cairo International Airport.
Escorted to your hotel.
Day 2 Breakfast at your hotel.
In the morning we drive to Sakkara which is the site of the “Step Pyramid” dating from 2700 BC. It is the first of the Egyptian pyramids and the world’s oldest stone structure.
Then we drive to Memphis, the capital of the ancient kingdom.
In the afternoon we visit The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.

Day 3 Breakfast at your hotel.
On to the Egyptian Museum of antiquities, which houses many of Egypt’s national archeological assets. These include the treasures belonging to the boy King Tutankhamun.
We drive to the awe inspiring Citadel once fortress to the notorious Saladin. The Citadel complex contains the alabaster Mohammed Ali Mosque. Take in some of the best views of the city from the mosque terrace.
We end the day with shopping at Khan-el-khalili, the oldest bazaar in the world.
Escorted to Cairo station for your first class seat on the overnight train to Aswan.
Day 4 Arrival in Aswan where you will be met at the station and escorted to your hotel.

Day 5 Breakfast at your hotel.
We cross the Nile in a felucca to Elaphantine Island and to the opposite bank to explore the mausoleum of Aga Khan.
Day 6 Breakfast at your hotel.
On to the controversial High Dam that controls Egypt’s life blood (The Nile) and then to The Low Dam (Old Dam). Marvel at the Unfinished Obelisk, thought to be the largest ancient obelisk in the world.

Day 7-10 Breakfast at your hotel and check-out.
Set sail for an unforgettable felucca trip down the Nile where you’ll sleep under the stars on the deck.
Along the way we’ll stop at Kom Ombo to explore the twin Temples of Haroeris and Sobek.
We’ll also stop in Esna to visit the best preserved temple on the Nile – The Temple of Horus.
Day 11 Breakfast on board.
Disembark at Esna.
We’ll take a bus ride to Luxor.
Here you’ll visit the spectacular Karnak and Luxor Temples.

Day 12 After breakfast at your hotel we head off to The Valley of The Kings to explore a few of the more than 60 ancient royal tombs. We also visit The Valley of The Queens.
You will also see the majestic Colossi of Memnon and the Mourtuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Day 13 Breakfast at your hotel.
Free day to explore at leisure.
Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple in the evening (optional).
Day 14-18 Breakfast at your hotel and check-out.
We take a bus and head to the Red Sea Resort of Hurgada. Sunbathe, swim, snorkel, dive, or fish. You can hire diving gear and take lessons, rent a fully equipped fishing boat, rent a small boat to explore the dozens of islands off the coast, or take a ride on a glass bottomed boat. Hotel accommodation for the duration of your time in Hurgada.
Day 19 After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo.
Transfer to your hotel.
Free day to explore at your leisure.
Day 20 Breakfast at your hotel.
Free day.
Day 21 Breakfast at your hotel.
Free day.
Day 22 Breakfast at your hotel.
Transfer to Cairo International Airport.
